We’re here to clear things up. Long story short, while the name has changed, we’re still the same team and we’re still providing the quality service you’ve come to expect. We haven’t gone anywhere. As Cobra Deck & Concrete, we’ve even expanded our services since we were operating under the Renew Crew banner.
Even with our new name of Cobra Deck & Concrete, we’re still here on the same basic mission. Namely, to proudly serve the Raleigh-Durham area with the same trusted team, and a wider range of services including deck restoration, fence staining, patio cleaning, power washing, and concrete sealing.
Why We Left the Franchise
Back in February 2022, the Renew Crew franchise made a significant shift in their business strategy. The Renew Crew team was choosing to move away from its full-service model, which included restoration and staining services. They wanted to instead refocus their model on basic power washing and window cleaning only.
We prefer the ability to focus on a wider range of services. For over 12 years, we’ve built our reputation around deck and fence staining, concrete sealing, paver coatings, specialized exterior restoration, and related services.
We’ve spent years refining our process and offering a level of service and product quality that goes far beyond basic cleaning. This is why we chose to part ways with Renew Crew and become fully independent.

Since becoming independent, the Cobra & Deck Concrete team now has more leeway when it comes to decision-making. Naturally, we wanted to put your experience first in every way. In plain English, that means:
- All decisions are now made locally. We don’t need anyone else’s approval. Everything we do is handled right here by our experienced team and if we find there is demand in the area for a new kind of service, we can provide that!
- We’ve expanded our service offerings. We can now offer higher-quality stains, sealers, and coatings that best meet local needs.
- We now have the flexibility to communicate in ways that are clear, direct, and tailored to our customers’ needs—without having to fit a one-size-fits-all model.
- Overhead is lower, which allows us to pass on savings to you.
