Clear Coat Sealer
The clear coat sealer is used for walkways and driveways. This concrete staining process is mainly used to protect the surface without making any changes to its physical outlook. We use a high-quality sealer that is transparent and does not draw attention to the concrete surface flaws and defects. It protects and shields the surface internally from any stains, molds, freeze/thaw cycles, oil spills, dirt or grime.
Concrete stains
In this process, a concrete sealer is used for the surface after which a color is added to it. Although it does not alter the look of the concrete surface completely, it does add a little color and gives the surface a strong protective layer. This is meant to give the concrete a special appearance and for further enhancement, we can also apply a tough transparent concrete sealer to the top part of the structure.
Stamped concrete restoration
This process is necessary for the stamped concrete surface that has not been maintained properly for a while, meaning the ‘stamp’ is already wearing unevenly or is worn off totally. Another reason might be to change the color of the stamped concrete. In this concrete restoration process, we use a color-toned sealer as the ‘base’ for the restoration of the old surface.
Following this, a semi-transparent stain is carefully applied to seep into the indentations, achieving the desired faux effect. After that, we apply one to two seal coats of the same semi-transparent concrete stain on the surface to bring the color to the customer’s desire. Last but not least, a clear stain guard is applied right on top of the whole system to guard the ‘stamp.’ If a clear top coat is regularly maintained, then the concrete area will indeed last up to 10-20 years.
Color Coatings
When you take a look at a new concrete staining service, you may notice that there are different colors and textures, and not as smooth as you would expect it to be. But over time, neglected and unprotected concrete surfaces will start having issues like oil spills and stains that can be hard to remove through cleaning and pressure washing services. In such cases, concrete surface coating is an ideal method that can be used. This process helps remove flaws, faded patterns, and any other form of discoloration and gives the surface a cleaner look.
Stamped concrete clear coat
This is a simple process that requires the stamped concrete area to be maintained by applying a clear coat protective layer over the stamped design every 2 to 3 years. This maintenance procedure involves cleaning the surface and reapplying the clear sealer.
Sequenced coats
In almost all of our processes of concrete staining, we apply a final layer of clear top coat combined with a grit/slip resistance process. These top coats form a “wear bar,” reducing the need for frequent maintenance to approximately every 3 years. Furthermore, this top coat provides chemical resistance, heat resistance against hot tires, and some resistance to stains.
