Cobra’s Deck Building
If your deck was built after 2004, it is highly likely you will need some minor or even major deck repair prior to your cleaning and staining process. Lumber on the market prior to 2004 used the chromated copper arsenate (CCA) process that seemingly made wood last much longer and actually pressure treated the board well. Any pressure treated lumber manufactured after that 2004 was mandated by law to use a different process that was not nearly as effective for providing a true pressure treated board. Therefore, decks do not last as long as they did when using the old process and need ongoing repairs and replacements.
Fortunately, Cobra Deck and Concrete also provides a turn key solution for your deck and/or fence. We will replace just a single pesky board all the way to redecking, rebuilding, or expanding your existing deck or fence. Working with Cobra Deck and Concrete will allow you to team with one company to complete the carpentry work and then have it scheduled properly for it to be cleaned and stained / protected after the drying out process of the wood. No need to work with multiple companies!
